Irish songwriter and storyteller Seamus Fogarty is not really like anyone else, happily, and he finds all kinds of musical ways to let us know this while being fabulously entertaining. Who else would imagine a mountain that could steal T-shirts – and then write a faux-Hillbilly song about it? Bar-room blues, ambient electronica and rooted Americana collide in his head before coming out perfectly formed as surprisingly catchy songs, albeit strange.
